Denne weekend fik vi følgende besked fra Amanda, USA.

I just wanted to let you know that Delaney and I competed in our first AKC
Hunt Test this weekend in Junior Hunter. She did wonderfully, and got a leg
for her JH title each day -- so she's already halfway finished.



Delaney was quite a hit -- she had about ten people follow behind in the
gallery to watch her hunt each day. She found birds and pointed
beautifully, really surprising the judges and gallery who expected her to be
cumbersome and slow. Today, she found and pointed 3 birds in the 15 minutes
allotted time. She caught one when it flushed and retrieved it to me, and
she was fine with the gunfire. One judge called her a "hunting machine" and
both judges today gave her a score of perfect 10 in hunting, and 9s in bird
finding ability and pointing.



I don't plan on entering her again until the fall, but in the meantime I'll
continue working with our trainer .... and aim for senior and master hunter
competition in the future?

Meget få i verden vil, som teenager, kunne starte med en Bracco Italiano og opnå de resultater, som Amanda har opnået for nuværende.

Det er helt sikkert, at Amanda vil blive en markant personlighed i Bracco verdenen mange år fremover.

Vi kan kun glæde os over, at hun ikke kun gør sig bemærket på udstilling, men også i høj grad værdsætte brugsegenskaberne hos racen og dermed anerkender racen, som jagthund.
